Check out the Fairgrounds at Yards Park in the Capitol Riverfront Neighborhood one Friday each month where you will have the selections of an insnae amount of food trucks! Come to be social, eat food and have a picnic with your friends. If you love food and people this is the event for you.
Do you love bluegrass? Then you have to put this on your calendar to enjoy a great group of people, music and fun. Some of the artists that will be performing are Town moutain, Dom Flemons and Frank OSlivan & Dirty Kitchen. This festival promotes community and sustainability and the proceeds will go towards the Living Classrooms Foundation.
Do you love craft beer? Bring a few friends and enjoy over 86 craft brweries from across the US! This event is hosted at the National Building Museum with over 172 beers availale for sampling.
This is a community wide events that focuses on the rights of the LGBTQ community. It is about building awareness and show eqaulity throughout the country. To learn click HERE
This year will be its 12th consectuive year in the nations capital. Events will be spread across the city but this is an event that cannot be missed. To learn more about the event click here
This is another community wide event. This festival is celebrating its 50th anniversary and will be focusing on crafts and the importance of migration. If you want to learn about the different international cultures inside of America then this is the event for you. This will be held on the National Mall. Come out and enjoy!!
